Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and BulkQR Ltd. ("BulkQR", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the bulk QR code generation service available at https://bulkqrcode.net (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service in any way — including visiting the website, uploading a file, generating a QR code, creating an account, or making a payment — you confirm that:

• → You have read and understood these Terms in full
• → You are at least 13 years old (16 in the European Union)
• → You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• → If acting on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including those who use the Service without creating an account.

BulkQR provides a web-based bulk QR code generation platform that allows users to upload data files (CSV, Excel) or input data manually, and generate corresponding QR code images packaged into a downloadable ZIP archive.

We reserve the right to modify, update, expand, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for changes that materially affect paid subscribers.

3.1 Account Creation

Use of the core generation tool does not require an account. Creating an account is optional but unlocks generation history, the ability to re-download past ZIPs, and access to paid plan features. When you create an account, you agree to:

• → Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• → Maintain and promptly update your account information
• → Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• → Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• → Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

3.2 One Account Per Person

Each individual or organization may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions is prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. BulkQR will never ask for your password via email, support chat, or any channel other than the official login page. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@bulkqrcode.net.

4.1 Available Plans

Full feature comparison available at pricing.php. We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Billing Cycles

Paid plans are available on a monthly or annual billing cycle. Annual billing is charged as a single payment at the start of each annual period at the discounted rate shown on the pricing page (equivalent to 10 months — 2 months free).

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder before each renewal.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. BulkQR never receives, stores, or has access to your full payment card details. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4.4 Taxes

Prices displayed do not include applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) unless explicitly stated. Any applicable taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address.

4.5 Usage Limits

Each plan has defined batch size limits. Uploading files that exceed your plan's row limit will result in only the first N rows being processed — excess rows are silently skipped. No error is thrown and no partial refund is issued for rows not processed due to plan limits. Upgrade your plan to process larger batches.

5.1 Refund Policy

To request a refund, email support@bulkqrcode.net with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• ✕ Renewal payments (only the first payment of each plan is eligible)
• ✕ Annual plan payments requested after the 7-day window
• ✕ Partial periods — we do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days
• ✕ Accounts terminated for violations of these Terms
• ✕ Free plan users (the Free plan has no charge)

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard under Billing Settings, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access to your plan features until that date. No partial refund is issued for the remaining period.

After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your account data, generation history, and settings are retained. Paid-only data (such as generation history beyond the Free limit) may become inaccessible but is not immediately deleted.

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service to:

6.1 Permitted Commercial Use

You are permitted to use QR codes generated through the Service for any legitimate commercial purpose, including product packaging, event management, marketing campaigns, inventory labeling, and client deliverables — subject to your plan limits and these Terms.

6.2 Enforcement

We reserve the right — but are not obligated — to monitor use of the Service for violations of these Terms. We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, removing content, and reporting to law enforcement.

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its source code, design, user interface, visual elements, text content, trademarks, and all associated software, is owned by BulkQR Ltd. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.

7.2 Limited License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for its intended purpose — generating QR codes — in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include:

• ✕ Reselling or sublicensing the Service to third parties
• ✕ Reproducing any part of the Service's interface or branding
• ✕ Using our trademarks, logo, or name in any way without permission
• ✕ Accessing the Service through automated means beyond the documented API

7.3 QR Code Standard

QR code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated. The QR code standard (ISO/IEC 18004) is implemented by our service under the terms of the standard's license. We make no claim of ownership over the QR code standard or format itself.

8.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service (URLs, text, spreadsheet data) and all QR codes generated from that content. We claim no intellectual property rights over your uploaded data or generated outputs.

8.2 License to Process

By uploading content to the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transform your content solely for the purpose of generating your QR codes and delivering the output to you. This license terminates automatically when your uploaded files and generated ZIPs are deleted from our servers (see our Privacy Policy for retention periods).

8.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the QR codes you generate. You represent and warrant that:

• → You have the right to use and encode all URLs, text, and data you upload
• → Your content does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights
• → Your content does not link to or encode illegal, harmful, or deceptive material
• → You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what your QR codes encode

9.1 Uptime

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure operation. The Service is provided "as available" and may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• · Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance where possible)
• · Unplanned outages or infrastructure failures
• · Third-party service interruptions (hosting, payment processor)
• · Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.)

Current system status is available at status.php. Pro and Business users are notified by email in the event of outages exceeding 30 minutes.

9.2 Support

Free plan users receive community support via our Help Center. Pro plan users receive email support with responses within 24 hours on business days. Business plan users receive priority email support with a response SLA.

9.3 Data Loss

ZIP files are automatically deleted 1 hour after generation and uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from failure to download your generated files within the available window. We strongly recommend downloading your ZIP files promptly and maintaining your own copies of source data files.

• · Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• · Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• · Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• · Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
• · Warranties that QR codes generated will scan correctly on all devices or readers
• · Warranties that the Service will be free from viruses, malware, or harmful components

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

• · Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• · Business interruption or loss of business resulting from QR code failure
• · Costs of procuring substitute services
• · Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• · Any matter beyond our reasonable control

In any case, our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount paid by you to BulkQR in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

These limitations apply whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not BulkQR has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BulkQR, BulkQR Ltd., and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• → Your use of or access to the Service
• → Your violation of these Terms
• → Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• → Any content you upload, generate, or distribute using the Service
• → Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party

13.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing support@bulkqrcode.net. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:

• · Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy (Section 6)
• · Non-payment of subscription fees after reasonable notice
• · Conduct that we reasonably believe poses legal risk to us or other users
• · Extended inactivity (accounts inactive for more than 3 years)
• · If required by applicable law or a valid legal order

In cases of serious violations (illegal content, fraud, abuse), termination will be immediate without prior notice or refund. In other cases, we will provide at least 7 days' notice by email before terminating a paid account.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• → Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• → Send an email notification to registered account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect
• → Display a prominent notice on the website for 14 days following the change

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription before the effective date for a pro-rata refund of unused time (this is the only exception to Section 5's non-refundable renewal policy).

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@bulkqrcode.net . We will use good-faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving written notice. Most disputes can be resolved quickly through our support team.

15.3 Jurisdiction

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Pakistan. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.

15.4 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15.5 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BulkQR regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
